GITEX Africa

The Objective

Position GITEX Africa as a pan-African networking and trend-setting event of the year in the technology industry. Engaged in March 2024 as one of the PR agencies responsible for crafting a specialised media relations campaign for GITEX Africa’s second edition, APO Group undertook the task of enhancing the conference's visibility across Africa, with a focus on 10+ targeted countries.

 

The cornerstone of the activities implemented was hosting a press trip in Morocco during the event and drafting 24 country-specific press releases.

On this project, APO Group mobilised its high-level, large-scale analysis capacities to create an impactful plan, strengthen awareness and position GITEX Africa 2024 as a pan-African event. More particularly, it was our careful preparation for the event, on both the technical and strategic levels, that ensured exceptional results in terms of visibility and quality of coverage.
